UASure II

Uric Acid Monitoring System

The UASure II Blood Uric Acid Monitoring System, employing advanced biosensor technlology, is the first hand-held system ever on the market for both healthcare professionals and individual users with the convenience of a portable device and easy operation for blood uric acid self monitoring. Independent testing agencies have found the UASure uric acid meter to be the most accurate brand on the market, while laboratories in Hamburg (Germany) and Postfach (Switzerland) have found the UASure meter to be accurate to within 97% of the results obtained using the reference Hitachi/Roche laboratory system.

Uric Acid Results in Seconds

“Gold Standard” in Personal Uric Acid Testing

  • High precision tester requiring a small blood volume (only 1.5µL)
  • Easy three-step operation with results in 10 seconds
  • Memory recall for 200 test results
  • Lightweight and portable
  • Sealed individual test strip to lock out air and moisture
  • PC Link

The Benchmark in Personal Uric Acid Testing

Since its introduction in 2001, UASure has pioneered the first handheld uric acid meter, setting the standard in the market for personal uric acid testing.

Leader in Accuracy

Independent assessments have consistently identified the UASure uric acid meter as the most precise brand available. Laboratories in Hamburg (Germany) and Postfach (Switzerland) have verified that the UASure meter achieves accuracy within 97% of results obtained using the Hitachi/Roche reference laboratory system.

Customer Favourite

Since its debut, the UASure meter has maintained its position as the top-rated uric acid meter among users.

Innovative Foil Seal Strips for Optimal Accuracy and Shelf Life

Unlike other brands that package multiple test strips in a single container—causing the strips to lose accuracy upon exposure to air—UASure individually seals each test strip. This unique packaging method protects the strips from air and moisture, ensuring they remain fresh and accurate for up to one year from the purchase date.

Trusted by Users Worldwide

The UASure meter is trusted by users globally, including those in the USA, who rely on its consistent performance and accuracy.

Laboratory-Tested Accuracy

Accuracy refers to the degree of agreement between the readings from a testing system (meter and test strips) and those from a recognized reference system (laboratory analyzer). Independent laboratories in Hamburg, Germany, and Postfach, Switzerland, have determined that the UASure meter demonstrates high accuracy. The results from these laboratories align closely with those obtained using the EPAC 6140 tester. Comparative studies of capillary and venous blood between the UASure system and the Hitachi/Roche system have yielded the following linear regression data:

Clinical Site Studies with Capillary Blood Samples

Number of Samples : 450

Range : 2.6 mg/dL to 14.5 mg/dL

Slope : 0.949

Intercept : 0.246 mg/dL

Correlation Coefficient : 0.969

Clinical Site Studies with Venous Blood Samples

Number of Samples : 450

Range : 2.6 mg/dL to 20.2 mg/dL

Slope : 0.953

Intercept : 0.125 mg/dL

Correlation Coefficient : 0.984

Laboratory-Tested Precision

Precision describes how consistent readings are from the same test system. Three lots of UASure test strips were used for within-run and between-run precision studies. Venous blood in heparin tubes was spiked to 4 concentrations. Blood uric acid readings were recorded for 10 days, resulting in 100 data points for each concentration. Data were averaged with three lots of test strips as shown in the following table:
